Randee Gilmore, President and Founder

Randee Gilmore is an accomplished growth leader and marketing and communications strategist with 15 years of experience in agency and in-house roles, partnering with B2B, B2G, and B2C brands from startups and nonprofits to government agencies and Fortune 500 companies. She founded Real, Good Communications following a successful corporate communications career to pursue new challenges and partner with brands that align with her core values.

Most recently, she partnerd with GoBe Kids, a $10M e-commerce brand with presence across DTC, Amazon, and in major retailers like Target and Walmart, to lead marketing and communications, including initaitives like a Shark Tank pitch and a crowdfunding campaign that raised $700K+ for new product development. Media coverage secured under her leadership includes Good Morning America, Today’s Parent, Travel + Leisure, theSkimm’, BuzzFeed, and Glamour.

Before founding Real, Good Communications, Randee worked at top global advertising and PR agencies in New York and Washington, D.C. She led the on-site media presence for CNN, C-SPAN, FOX, and NBC for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Also, she developed media strategies for the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, working with outlets like Destination Weddings & Honeymoons, CNN Traveler, US Airways, Travel & Leisure, The Washington Post, and The New York Times.

She then moved in-house to lead communications teams at a tech startup and global consulting firm. She managed initiatives across PR, events, content, and executive communications. She garnered top-tier coverage for Snagajob in outlets like USA Today, WSJ, Business Insider, U.S. News & World Report, Franchising.com, SHRM, Fast Casual, SHRM, and HR Dive, as well as led ICF’s 50th anniversary campaign, engaging 7,000 global employees and curating all content for icf.com/50years.

Career accolades include receiving the Gold Bulldog Media Relations Award for her work with the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC) while at Ogilvy and being nominated from 50 junior-level employees to participate in the 4As Institute Advanced Advertising Studies while at McCann. She previously served on the board of directors with Washington Women in Public Relations (WWPR).

Randee holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia. She lives in Virginia and enjoys spending time with her husband, daughters, and goldendoodle.
